The login for your account is your student number @derby-college.ac.uk and your password is initially your date of birth in the format below. You will be asked to change your password when you first login. For example:
username: 123456@student.derby-college.ac.uk
password: 01011990

Setting Up Your College Account Remotely (when not on location at college)
If you are not on location at college, you can set up your account remotely from wherever you are as long as you have an internet connection. You will start the process by visiting the Derby College website. The video below describes the process in detail, or there are step by step instructions further down in this page.
Step By Step Instructions
To set up your account you will need to know your college ID number. This is the number on your college ID card.
To start the setup, go to the Derby College website at https://www.derby-college.ac.uk (or enter 'Derby College' into a search engine like Bing or Google)
Once at the college website, scroll down to about the middle of the page and click on the link to My Sign-ins
You now need to enter your college e-mail address. This is your college ID number followed by @student.derby-college.ac.uk, e.g. 123456@student.derby-college.ac.uk
Click on Next and you will be prompted to enter your password. Initially, this is set as your date of birth in this format ddmmyyyy (e.g. for 1st September 2001, you would enter 01092001)
You will then need to update your password, but first you need to enter your current password (your date of birth)
In the next box you can enter the password you will use for the year. It can be anything you like, but make sure you will remember it.
Finally confirm the password by entering it again.

What if you want to set up your account on location at college?
If you are on campus at college, you can set up your account using any college laptop or PC
Begin by having a college laptop or PC with the login prompt displayed in front of you
Where it says Username, you need to enter your college e-mail address. This is your college ID number followed by @student.derby-college.ac.uk, e.g. 123456@student.derby-college.ac.uk
